Born in Manchester now living in Heywood, Rochdale. Started my coaching career three years age, exemption from Assistant Club Coach due to being an ex-national gymnast, and competing for the British Squad.

After passing my club coach, I hope to move on to HPC

Joan Vernon (WA Regional Judge & WA Coach Level 2) FIRST AID

I was born in Manchester and live in Swinton. I have a daughter who is a gymnast and decided I'd like to have more knowledge of the sport, giving her support and also the club.

Who knows where this may lead in the future!!

Celvin Gosling (WA Coach Level 2)

Born in South Wales, went to university in Salford and lived in Swinton since 1991, working as a teacher in the area since 1994. Got dragged into Gymnastics after jumping over the wall to help move equipment around while my eldest daughter was first doing Recreation gymnastics. This developed into a level 1 qualification in General Gymnastics. I followed my daughter into the Club and 2 years later I improved my qualification to Level 2 in Women's Artistic Gymnastics. I am hoping to upgrade to Level 3, but where it goes after this .....who knows?

Ashlea Hodgkinson (Young helpers award & Assistant club coach)

I started my life of gymnastics at Walkden recreation centre and was introduced to Sal ford Gymnastics Club by my recreation coach. I competed for Sal ford for many years, with my last competition being the National Development Plan Club grade 1, which I passed. I now compete on a trampoline rather than a floor but I am still actively involved, helping the club coaches with the younger gymnasts coming through
